All the video game companies have collectively decided to cancel all of their games, and just stop making any new ones. When asked why, sources stated “There’s already a lot of games,” and “You already have enough games, all the new ones were going to suck anyway.”

The global crime-rate is reported to have decreased by at least 300% since this decision was made, since video games were the reason anyone was violent ever.
